About the organization
The Responsible Gaming Foundation /RGF/ is the non profit organization of its kind in Bulgaria for the prevention of gambling addiction. Our main goals and objectives are:
- informing the public about the risks of irrational gambling behavior developing into addiction;
- building a responsible attitude to the game among mass users of gaming services;
- promoting socially responsible policies and practices among gaming organizers and conducting
- responsible advertising and marketing in the industry;
- increasing the gaming culture of citizens.
Main activities of the Responsible Gaming Foundation
- Conducting practical training for employees and managers of gambling organizers. Creation of statistics based on the feedback of the participants, in order to improve and implement useful innovations in the content of the trainings
- Conducting information campaigns with the aim of increasing public awareness, protecting young people and risk groups of users from developing gambling addiction and increasing citizens’ gambling culture
- Establishment of new partnerships with international organizations specialized in the field of gambling addiction and maintenance of already established ones. Participation and partnership in initiatives of organizations and associations on the topic of responsible gaming, such as the “European Responsible Gaming Week” of the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA)
- Implementation of an initiative of the foundation, together with the Association of the gaming industry in Bulgaria, to hold the first edition of a week of responsible gaming in October 2023, in collaboration with the partner organizations of RGF. The program will include training and online meetings and discussions with leading associations and organizations with which RGF has partnerships
- Participation of RGF representatives in international conferences to present the foundation and recruit new partnerships and contacts. Participation in BEGE and EEGS in the month of November 2023. Participation in seminars dedicated to responsible gaming.
