Ms. Petya Filipova

Petya Filipova is a professional with extensive experience in project management, event organization, and strategic sales in the gaming and tourism industries. Since June 2023, she has been serving as a project manager at the Responsible Gaming Foundation. In May 2024, she advanced to the position of Executive Director and became a member of the Foundation’s Board of Directors.

As Executive Director, Filipova is committed to protecting and promoting safe and responsible gaming policies. She develops and implements strategic plans for the development and activities of the Foundation, aligning with the organization’s mission and goals. She is also the driving force behind conceptually and organizationally leading all the Foundation’s educational programs, which include webinars, seminars, and case studies aimed at raising a high level of awareness about responsible gambling practices in the industry, both for professionals and the broader audience.

In addition, Filipova has experience as an event coordinator for the Balkan Gaming and Entertainment Industry Exhibition (BEGE) and the Eastern European Gaming and Entertainment Industry Conference (EEGS). She holds a bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and National Security and Defense from New Bulgarian University, as well as certificates in PR, social media marketing, and public speaking.
